INSS INFOMAR Seabed Survey Shallow seismic Sub-Bottom Profile
This API provides access to sub-bottom profile data collected during shallow seismic surveys under the INFOMAR programme (Integrated Mapping for the Sustainable Development of Ireland's Marine Resource), the successor to the Irish National Seabed Survey (INSS). INFOMAR is a joint initiative of the Geological Survey of Ireland (GSI) and the Marine Institute, mapping the physical, chemical, and biological features of Ireland's seabed. The dataset covers national marine territory and supports geological characterisation of sub-seafloor sediment layers, contributing to Ireland's broader seabed mapping and marine resource management efforts. The integrated Mapping for the Sustainable Development of Ireland’s Marine Resource (INFOMAR) programme is a joint venture between the Geological Survey of Ireland (GSI) and the Marine Institute (MI). The programme is the successor to the Irish National Seabed Survey (INSS) and concentrates on crea…
