Housing inventory and secondary homes rate
This API provides a map service showing municipalities subject to the Swiss Second Homes Act (Zweitwohnungsgesetz, ZWG, SR 702), which restricts the construction of second homes in municipalities where the share of secondary residences exceeds 20 percent. Municipalities affected are highlighted, and the underlying housing inventory data indicates the secondary-home rate per municipality. It is published by the Swiss Federal Office for Spatial Development (ARE), part of the Swiss Confederation, and covers the national territory.
