Corine Landcover 2012
Corine Land Cover 2012 is a national land-cover map of Ireland derived from interpretation of satellite imagery, produced according to the EU's CORINE (Coordination of Information on the Environment) specifications. It classifies the Irish landscape into standardised land-cover categories such as urban areas, agricultural land, forests, wetlands and water bodies, enabling comparison with other European countries participating in the CORINE programme.
