Biotope type mapping of the preservation of evidence for the construction measure "Adaptation of the fairway of the Lower and Outer Elbe to container shipping" from 2017
This dataset provides biotope type mapping conducted in 2017 as part of the preservation of evidence for the construction measure adapting the fairway of the Lower and Outer Elbe to container shipping. The mapping was carried out ten years after the fairway adaptation, using HRSC-A(X) aerial image data collected in 2016 combined with automated biotope type classification. It is published by Informationstechnikzentrum Bund (Ilmenau site) and offers geospatial data on habitat types along the affected river sections, supporting environmental monitoring related to the fairway adaptation project.Biotope type mapping 2017 took place ten years after the extension of the construction measure "Adaptation of the outer and lower eel channel to container shipping" using HRSC-A(X) image data and automated biotope type mapping.
