Brownfield Register
A dataset identifying brownfield land — previously developed sites available for residential and mixed-use development — compiled from Brownfield Land Registers that local planning authorities in England are required to maintain to encourage housing delivery and investment. This particular register covers Greater London, published by the Greater London Authority. Sites smaller than 0.25 hectares may be excluded from the map. Boundaries are indicative, based on Ordnance Survey mapping, and should be confirmed with the relevant London Borough. Contains OS and Crown copyright and database rights data, published under the Open Government Licence v3.0.Brownfield lands are areas of previously developed land available for residential and mixed-use developments.
