Swiss residual flow maps Return flows
This API provides geospatial data on residual flow maps and return flows in Switzerland, published by the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU) under the Swiss Confederation. It relates to the Federal Act on the Protection of Water against Pollution (LPEP), which entered into force on 1 November 1992, and its provisions on residual flows in watercourses. Under Article 80 ff LPEP, remedial measures must be taken where possible on existing installations affecting residual flows, based on cantonal orders.
