Seawater altitude observations
This API provides sea level observations from Finland's network of 14 mareograph stations along the national coastline. Measurements express seawater height relative to the theoretical mean water level and in the N2000 height system. Hourly readings are available from 1971 onward, with minute-level resolution available since 2017. The data supports monitoring of coastal water levels over time and can be used for hydrological and environmental analysis of the Finnish coast. The height of the seawater in relation to the theoretical mean water and in the N2000 altitude system from the 14 measuring stations on the Finnish coast, i.e. the mareographer. Since 1971, every hour and every minute after 2017.
