Safety zone plan
This API provides geospatial data on safety zones established around Swiss airports to protect airspace from obstacles. The Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) determines, on a case-by-case basis, whether a safety zone is required for air navigation equipment and flight paths. The authoritative basis for defining these zones is the cadastre of obstacle limitation surfaces. The dataset is published by the Swiss Confederation and covers national territory, supporting aviation safety planning, airspace obstacle assessment, and coordination around airport infrastructure and transport corridors.For each airport, a security zone is to be established, which protects the airspace from obstacles.
