This dataset extracts national and departmental roads from the "Road Segments" layer of the BD TOPO® v3, a large-scale geographic reference database (RGE®) produced by the French National Institute of Geographic and Forest Information (IGN) with metric precision. It is published by the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolitan Authority and covers the metropolitan area's road network.
