Open Food Facts - Food products: ingredients, nutrition, labels
Open Food Facts is a free, collaborative database of food products, covering ingredients, nutritional values, allergens, labels, and packaging information. The project is maintained mainly through crowdsourced contributions, with citizens photographing and entering product data from packaging worldwide. While global in scope, this dataset reflects the French branch of the initiative. It is used by researchers, developers, and consumer applications to compare products, check nutritional quality, and build tools such as diet trackers or shopping assistants based on open product data.[Open Food Facts](https://en.openfoodfacts.org/) lists information on food products: ingredients, nutritional information, labels etc. The data comes mainly from citizen collection (crowdsourcing) of information.
