Numbering districts (NBZ)
A numbering district (NBZ) is a technical reference unit used for point identification within Germany's official geospatial data models AFIS (Official Fixed Point Information System) and ALKIS (Official Real Estate Cadastre Information System). Numbering districts can be defined in different ways depending on context: as kilometre squares for point identifiers, as boundary areas for parcel identifiers, as boundary areas for continuation numbers, or as boundary areas for demarcation protocol numbers. The dataset is maintained by Niedersachsen's Landesamt für Geoinformation und Landesvermessung (LGLN) and supports consistent identification of geodetic and cadastral objects across the state.A numbering district (NBZ) is a technical identifier for the point identification of the AFIS® and ALKIS® data models (Official Fixed Point Information System, Official Property Register).
