This WMS view service from the Geological Survey of Sweden (SGU) provides a map of surface (Quaternary) deposits, showing their distribution at or near the ground surface as well as the occurrence of boulders. Deposits are classified according to their mode of formation and grain-size composition. Thin surface layers of less than about half a metre to one metre, and deposits at greater depth, are in some cases shown separately. The map covers the whole of Sweden at scales between 1:25,000 and 1:100,000 and is intended for geological, planning, and land-use purposes.Jordartskartan visar jordarternas utbredning i eller nära markytan samt förekomsten av block i markytan.
