This WMS view service, published by the Geological Survey of Sweden (SGU), displays natural groundwater springs, primarily located along Sweden's larger eskers (glaciofluvial ridges). The dataset includes information on the location of each spring, its flow rate, aquifer type (geological setting), and, to some extent, water quality and related parameters. Springs can be of significant importance for specific biological habitats and ecosystems dependent on groundwater discharge.
