Dataset published by Statistik Austria providing geographic coordinates representing the spatial centroid of each Austrian municipality. The coordinates are derived from the population centroid of each municipality, calculated using data from the population register, the harmonised employment statistics, and the building and dwelling register. It offers a national-level reference point for each municipality, useful for mapping, spatial analysis, and linking statistical data to municipal locations across Austria.Räumliche Schwerpunkte der Gemeinden.
