This API provides data on the number of physicians practicing in the Île-de-France region, broken down by medical specialty, as of 2014. The figures, reported as of 1 January, are derived from statistical processing of the Répertoire Partagé des Professionnels de Santé (RPPS), a shared directory of health professionals, and are also published on data.drees.sante.gouv.fr. The dataset is maintained as part of the Île-de-France regional open-data portal and can be used to analyze the regional distribution of medical specialists.Effectifs des médecins exerçant en Région Île-de-France par spécialité (2014).
