The ECB Financial Statements (EFS) dataset provides official time series data on the European Central Bank's balance sheet and financial statements, published via the ECB Data Portal as the EFS dataflow. Data is accessible through an SDMX 2.1 REST endpoint, supporting XML (SDMX-ML), CSV, and JSON output formats. Users can retrieve specific series using key paths combined with startPeriod, endPeriod, and lastNObservations parameters to filter results precisely. The same underlying series can also be browsed and visualized interactively on the ECB Data Portal website.
