Digital contour map
This API provides digital contour line data for Bavaria, Germany, delivered as grid data covering the state. The elevation lines are derived from the Digital Terrain Model (DGM5), a high-resolution dataset representing ground elevation. The dataset is published and maintained by the Landesamt für Digitalisierung, Breitband und Vermessung, the Bavarian state office responsible for digitization, broadband, and surveying. It offers free, unauthenticated access to elevation information useful for mapping, terrain analysis, and geospatial applications requiring accurate representation of land surface topography across the region.The elevation lines are available nationwide as grid data in Bavaria and are derived from the data of the Digital Terrain Model (DGM5).
