This dataset provides land-cover data for the canton of Geneva, Switzerland, classified according to OTEMO, the technical ordinance of the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport on official surveying, dated 10 June 1994. Article 7-b of this federal ordinance establishes a catalogue of cantonal land-cover object types, which forms the basis for this classification. The data is maintained by the Geneva Territorial Information System (Système d'information du territoire genevois) and can be used for cadastral, planning, and land-management purposes at the cantonal level, in line with the official Swiss surveying framework.OTEMO est l'acronyme de l'Ordonnance technique du DDPS sur la mensuration official du 10 juin 1994.
