Ice observations
This API provides ice observation data from Finland, published by the Finnish Meteorological Institute. It reports the average ice thickness measured at sea using ice detectors, based on readings from one to three drill holes, along with the average depth of snow accumulated above the ice. The dataset covers national ice conditions and is relevant for monitoring sea ice and snow cover during winter periods. Access is free and does not require authentication. The data includes the average ice thickness measured by ice detectors from the sea from 1-3 drill holes and the average depth of snow above the ice.
