This dataset provides the number of unemployed persons in the municipalities of the Île-de-France region from 1975 to 2020, based on exhaustive population census data (RGP) from Insee, the French national statistics institute. Unemployed persons are defined per census methodology as individuals aged 15 or over who declared themselves unemployed, whether or not registered with France Travail, excluding those who explicitly stated they were not seeking work.
