This dataset provides mapping of mobile substrate rhodolith (maërl) habitats in the "Parc national des Calanques" sector, produced under the CAREMaërl project as part of action D1 of the Life Marha programme. It aims to inventory the distribution of maërl and rhodolith habitats along the Mediterranean coast down to the 60-metre isobath, and to assess their ecological condition through hyperbaric diving surveys with photo-identification of associated species. Data were collected using a towed video system with five cameras, enabling live annotation aboard the oceanographic vessel and geolocated recording along transects between the lower limit of Posidonia meadows and the -60 m isobath. Classification follows the NatHab-Med typology, with attributes structured on the OFB HABITAT layer model. The objective of this project is twofold: - Mapping the habitats at maërl and rhodoliths on the Mediterranean coast to the isobath 60 metres deep, in order to make it possible to establish an inventory of the distribution of these habitats; - Evaluate the health status of these habitats on sectors in the Mediterranean through a protocol carried out in hyperbaric diving, by photo identification and determination of the species associated with the different study sectors. The towed video system (5 cameras) allowed the live viewing and annotation in the cabin of an oceanographic vessel and a geolocated recording of all observations made during the campaign on transects regularly spaced between the lower limit of the posidonia herbarium (around -25 m in the southern region) and the isobath of -60 meters. The typology used for this project is the "National Typology of Mediterranean Benthic Biocenosis (NatHab-Med)". The attribute table follows the HABITAT layer model of the OFB.
