Base Map (Vector Tile Style)
A dynamic web map built on vector-tile technology, optimised for mobile devices. All map elements, including terrain, are rendered as vector data and follow the Maplibre style specification. Content adapts to zoom level and combines official Swiss geodata—topographic landscape model, digital elevation model, digital cartographic model, public transport stops, and the official road directory—with third-party data and points of interest across various topics. The underlying data consists of a Base Vector Tileset and a Relief Vector Tileset. It provides a national base map suitable for integrating transport, terrain, and location information into web and mobile applications.The BaseMap is a dynamic web-map built on vectortile technology, designed specifically for optimal use on mobile devices. The data basis consists of vector tiles (Base Vector Tileset and Relief Vector Tileset).
