This dataset is part of the Permanent Database of Facilities (BPE), produced annually by INSEE (the French national statistics institute) with a reference date of 1 January, since 2007. Built from various administrative sources updated each year, it lists a wide range of facilities and services available to the population, covering transport and tourism equipment such as train and coach stations, taxi ranks, airports, hotels, campsites and other tourist accommodation.
