This API provides the map layer showing the status of gravel pit (quarry) operating zones in the canton of Geneva, Switzerland. It distinguishes three zone types: areas currently being worked under an operating authorisation issued by the cantonal Department of Territory, areas that have been backfilled after extraction has ended, and presumably a third category related to planned or future exploitation.
