This API provides access to the Hamburg water register (Wasserbuch), maintained by LGV Hamburg (Landesbetrieb Geoinformation und Vermessung). Under Section 87 of the German Federal Water Act (WHG) in conjunction with Sections 98 and following of the Hamburg Water Act (HWaG), the register records entries such as permits and authorizations for water use, older established rights and entitlements, and designated water protection areas. Data is delivered as a WFS (Web Feature Service) feature type covering the Hamburg city-state, allowing spatial queries and integration into geographic information systems for administrative, legal, and environmental purposes related to water bodies.Für die Gewässer sind Wasserbücher zu führen.
