This dataset provides speed limits applicable on the road network of Rennes Métropole, including traffic-calmed zones, shared spaces (zones de rencontre), 30 km/h zones, and pedestrian zones. For the City of Rennes, the underlying database was initiated in 2010 by the Heritage Department of the Roads Directorate. It is published and maintained by Rennes Métropole, the local authority covering the Rennes urban area in France, and is freely accessible without authentication.
