This WFS API provides access to Hamburg's species register (Artenkataster), containing location data on animal species gathered from commissioned surveys and volunteer contributions, held by the Behörde für Umwelt, Klima, Energie und Agrarwirtschaft (Department of Nature Conservation). The published data includes animal species observations aggregated to a 2x2 km grid, allowing spatial analysis of species distribution across Hamburg.
