This dataset provides population counts on a 5 km by 5 km grid across Finland, published by Statistics Finland (Tilastokeskus). Figures reflect population numbers as of the last day of the reference year (31 December), broken down by age group. Only inhabited grid cells are included. Statistical variables cover total population, number of men and women, and age groups such as those under 15 years old. The grid-based format allows spatial analysis of population distribution independent of administrative boundaries.Sisältää väestömäärän 5 km x 5 km -ruuduittain.
