This API provides access to a spatial dataset showing Strategic Open Gaps in Malta, as designated under the Strategic Plan for the Environment and Development (SPED). It forms part of the Strategic Proposals and Marine Objectives published within SPED, identifying areas that are to be kept free from further urban development. The service is delivered as a Web Map Service (WMS) via the haleconnect platform, allowing the data to be viewed and integrated into GIS applications. It is published and maintained by the Planning Authority of Malta, serving as a reference layer for national land-use and environmental planning.This dataset consists of part of the Strategic Proposals and Marine Objectives as published in the Strategic Plan for the Environment and Development (SPED).
