Status of flood hazard maps
This dataset shows the status of flood hazard mapping at the cantonal level in Geneva, Switzerland. It geographically indicates, watercourse by watercourse, whether a hazard map exists and how advanced its preparation is, using a colour-coded scheme: a blue line marks an indicative hazard map available, a green line an existing, finalised hazard map, and a red line a map still in progress. The data is published by the Système d'information du territoire genevois (SITG), the geographic information system of the Canton of Geneva, and can be used to check flood risk mapping coverage for local watercourses.The status of hazard maps gives a general view of the status of availability of maps at the cantonal level.
