Statistics on changes of first name, last name and nationality
Statistical data on decisions regarding changes of given name, surname, and nationality record, drawn from the internal register of the Civil Registry Department of the Ministry of Justice of Latvia (Tieslietu ministrija). The dataset breaks figures down by decision type, covering permissions granted to change a given name, permissions to change a surname, permissions to change a nationality record, and refusals to change a given name, surname, or nationality record. It provides a national-level view of administrative activity in civil status changes in Latvia.Statistics on the number of decisions to change a given name, surname and nationality recorded in the internal programme of the Civil Registry Department of the Ministry of Justice (data by type of decision: statistics on permission to change a name, statistics on permission to change a surname, statistics on permission to change a nationality record, and statistics on refusal to change a given name, surname or nationality record).
