This dataset provides data on registered lobbyists in Lithuania, including transparency declarations submitted by lobbyists and monthly declarations submitted by persons who have been lobbied, with records available from 2021 onward. Lobbyists must present a certificate issued by the Chief Official Ethics Commission (COEC) when engaging a target person, disclose the sponsor and beneficiary of the lobbying activity and the draft legal act concerned, and submit a transparency declaration within seven days; targeted persons must similarly declare any influence experienced regarding each draft legal act within seven days. The data provider is the Chief Official Ethics Commission, published via the State Data Agency (Valstybės duomenų agentūra).}The package contains data on registered lobbyists, transparency declarations submitted by lobbyists and monthly declarations submitted by persons who have been lobbied. Data shall be provided from 2021. It should be noted that natural or legal persons engaged in lobbying activities shall be considered lobbyists. As provided for in the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Lobbying Activities, when presenting themselves to the person to be influenced, lobbyists must present a certificate of lobbyist issued by the COEC, indicate the sponsor of lobbying activities, the beneficiary, the draft legal act under discussion and submit a declaration of transparent legislative processes within seven days. Persons who are intended to be influenced by lobbying activities must also declare, within seven days, the influence experienced in relation to each draft legal act.
