This dataset provides riverbed surveys of the entire Danube, including the Danube Canal, produced using multibeam echo sounder (fan beam) measurements. The surveys deliver comprehensive, gapless mapping of the river bottom across its full width. The data is used to analyze the current state of the riverbed and to monitor or assess changes to it over time, supporting hydrographic and engineering work related to the waterway.
