This dataset lists SEVESO-classified industrial sites within the Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolitan area, harvested from the regional environmental authority (DREAL). It covers installations classified as ICPE (Installations Classées pour la Protection de l'Environnement), a category defined by decree in the Council of State for facilities whose activities or stored products may pose environmental risks or nuisances.
