This dataset represents the road network of the Île-de-France region as it stood around 1960, based on a revised version of the 1922-type France map. Published as part of the SIGR (regional geographic information system), it can be cross-referenced with other SIGR datasets, such as municipal boundaries and forest cover, to approximate and quantify changes in land use and infrastructure over time.
