Register of Protected Areas - Bathing Water Areas
This dataset forms part of the national Register of Protected Areas and covers designated Bathing Water Areas in Ireland, as identified under S.I. No. 79/2008 and S.I. No. 351/2011. It contains Bathing Water Area profiles required under Regulation 5, describing the physical, geographical and hydrological characteristics of each designated bathing water, in line with EU Directive 2006/7/EC.
