This dataset presents Leicester City Council's figures for the public sector apprenticeship target, a requirement introduced by the UK government in April 2017 under the Public Sector Apprenticeship Targets Regulations 2017. Public sector bodies in England with 250 or more staff, including local authorities, must publish annual data on the number of new apprentices and existing employees starting an apprenticeship.
