Public Sector Register of Public Sector Bodies 2022
This register lists organisations in Ireland classified as "general government" bodies for national accounts purposes, forming the basis for Government Finance Statistics (GFS) and Excessive Deficit Procedure (EDP) reporting. It also identifies publicly controlled organisations that fall outside the general government sector. Maintained by the Central Statistics Office (CSO), the register draws on government publications, annual reports, academic databases, and data collection carried out with the Department of Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery and Reform, and the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
