This API provides access to category 3 planimetric fixed points (PFP3) of the official land survey, as defined under Articles 46 to 48 of the Swiss ordinance on official surveying (OTEMO). These points are permanently marked on the ground using boundary stones, pins, engraved crosses, or paint markings for aerial signaling.
