This API provides geolocated data on narrow forests within the canton of Geneva, published by the Système d'information du territoire genevois (SITG). Narrow forests are defined as forest strips no more than 40 metres wide; due to their limited width they are particularly fragile and sensitive to external pressures, while also serving as important biological corridors. The dataset supports forest planning, land-use management, and biodiversity conservation efforts at the local cantonal level, and is freely accessible without authentication.Les forêts étroites sont des forêts dont l'épaisseur ne dépasse pas 40 mètre. En raison de leur étroitesse, elles sont particulièrement fragiles et sensitives aux pressions extérieures. Elles jouent de plus un rôle de corridor biologique important.
