Parking on public roads
This dataset provides a geographic layer of parking spaces on public roads within the canton of Geneva, covering both motorized and non-motorized vehicles. Each feature represents a group of spaces classified by parking type, based on status and permitted duration. The data is maintained by the Système d'information du territoire genevois (Geneva Territorial Information System) and is used to monitor and track changes in parking supply over time, supporting urban planning and mobility management with an up-to-date inventory of on-street parking availability across the canton.The parking layer on the public highway identifies parking spaces on the public highway for motorized and non-motorized vehicles.
