This API, published by Lantmäteriet (the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority), provides access to historical orthophotos - orthogonally rectified aerial images with true ground scale - covering Sweden from 1949 to 2005. The imagery is available in black-and-white/grayscale, colour (RGB) and infrared (IR) variants, organised into separate layers by year and type. The dataset complies with the requirements of the EU INSPIRE directive, supporting spatial data interoperability across Europe.
