This dataset provides the Digital Basic Landscape Model (Basis-DLM), part of Germany's Authoritative Topographic-Cartographic Information System (ATKIS). It describes topographic objects on the earth's surface with their form, properties, and position, based on a uniform positional reference. Geometric accuracy and information density correspond to the 1:10,000 to 1:25,000 map scale range, with objects modelled two-dimensionally. The dataset is published as open data at national scale in Germany and is intended for topographic and cartographic applications requiring detailed, standardized landscape modelling.The Digital Basic Landscape Model (Basic DLM) is part of the Official Topographic Cartographic Information System (ATKIS®).
