Open Data Finder
This API provides tourism data for Hamm and the wider Ruhr metropolitan area in Germany, covering accommodation types such as hotels, holiday apartments, and group lodgings. Regularly updated records include contact details, opening hours, prices, descriptive texts, and photos. Access requires generating a license key, after which users can query data by perimeter or area (e.g. Hamm) and retrieve content either as website widgets (destination.pages) or via API (destination.meta). Supported output formats include CSV, XML, HTML, JSON, JSON-LD (schema.org and ODTA), GeoJSON, ATOM, GPX, JPEG, PNG, RSS, and RDF.The data set includes various accommodation (hotels, holiday apartments, group accommodation, etc.) in Hamm and in the Ruhr metropolis. The descriptive content is regularly updated and includes detailed information on contact addresses, opening hours, prices, description texts and photos. ##Guide to the Open Data Finder: ###Step 1 In the first step, you can generate a license key by entering your contact details. ###Step 2 In the next step, you have to choose in which area you want to retrieve the tourist data. To do this, you can select either the perimeter or the area search. Select "Hamm" if you want to see accommodations in Hamm. ###Step 3 You can then opt for two types of direct data retrieval: destination.pages (widgets) for the website and destination.meta (API access) for the content. The following data formats are available: CSV, XML, HTML, JSON, JSON LD (schema.org), JSON LD (schema.org ODTA), GEOJSON, ATOM, GPX, JPEG, PNG, RSS, RDF, RSS-FEED.
