Noise pollution register for railway systems – railway noise, actual daytime emissions
This API provides access to the authoritative Swiss railway noise pollution register, covering both emission and immission values along the national rail network. It specifically presents actual daytime noise emission levels, Lr,e, expressed in dB(A), measured according to real traffic conditions observed over the course of one year. The dataset is maintained by the Swiss Confederation, through the Federal Office of Transport (BAV), and forms part of the official framework for monitoring and documenting railway noise exposure across Switzerland.The authoritative railway noise pollution values are defined in the noise pollution register. Both emission and immission values are shown. The actual emissions Lr,e in [dB(A)] were measured based on the actual traffic during the day over the course of one year.
