Noise pollution register for railway systems – railway noise, permitted daytime immissions
This API provides access to the authoritative noise pollution register for the Swiss railway system, covering permitted daytime noise immissions. It contains both emission and immission values related to railway noise, expressed as Lr,e in decibels (dB(A)). The permitted noise levels were officially fixed through a decision of the Federal Office of Transport (FOT). The dataset is published by the Swiss Confederation and applies nationally, offering a reference source for railway noise limits used in regulatory and environmental assessment contexts across Switzerland's rail network.'The authoritative railway noise pollution values are defined in the noise pollution register. Both emission and immission values are shown. The permitted noise levels Lr,e in [dB(A)] were fixed by the FOT in a decision.
