Local Authority Boundaries
This dataset provides current local authority boundaries for Scotland, derived from Ordnance Survey's open BoundaryLine product. It is maintained by the Scottish Government's SpatialData.gov.scot service, which aims to update the dataset whenever a local authority boundary change occurs. The data is intended to represent administrative boundaries used across Scotland at a national level and is suitable for geospatial analysis, mapping, and other applications requiring accurate local authority extents. Coverage is national, spanning all Scottish local authorities.This dataset of current local authority boundaries has been created from Ordnance Survey's open BoundaryLine product. We will endeavour to keep this dataset up to date every time there is a local authority boundary change.
