This dataset provides the geographic boundaries and names of the 111 official districts (quartiers) into which the commune of Marseille was divided by decree n° 46-2285 of 18 October 1946. It was produced by aggregating IRIS statistical zones from the 2015 edition. A comparable dataset previously existed, but with lower precision. The data is published by the Métropole Aix-Marseille-Provence and can be used for local administrative, statistical, and mapping purposes concerning Marseille's neighborhoods.Le décret n° 46-2285 du 18 octobre 1946 découpe le territoire de la commune de Marseille en 111 quartiers.
