LDNPA Article 4 directions
This dataset provides polygon boundaries for areas within the Lake District National Park that are subject to Article 4 directions. Such directions withdraw the automatic planning permission granted under the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995, as amended, typically to protect the character of sensitive areas by requiring a formal planning application for works that would otherwise be permitted development.
