Hen Harrier SPA Habitat Map
This dataset provides a habitat map for the six Special Protection Areas (SPAs) classified in Ireland under Article 4 of the Birds Directive (2009/147/EC) for the conservation of the Hen Harrier (Circus cyaneus). The SPAs cover a combined land area of approximately 1,671 km². The classification followed a national survey of breeding Hen Harriers, which recorded between 128 and 172 breeding pairs.
